I probably seem like I’m really quiet, or I don’t like you, but honestly, it’s probably just that I don’t know what to say.

SCU is actually Jesuit, which makes it Catholic. Anyway, Jesuits are actually incredibly accepting of other faiths, so there’s no pressure to convert if that’s what you’re worried about. I have friends of all kinds of faith. :)
In terms of how “Christian” it is…um, it really isn’t LOL Which isn’t to say that there is no Christian culture here. It’s just that, due to the tolerance I mentioned before, there isn’t a dominant pressure to be Christian or a dominant Christian culture.
Cliques, you mean? Um, I’ve never really experienced or noticed any around here. Maybe I’m just oblivious, sorry ^^;;
SCU students are required to take three religion courses, but you’re not forced to take “Christian” courses, if that makes sense. There are courses like Ways of Understanding Religion (which looks at different types of religions from an outsider’s/academic POV) and Egyptian Religious Traditions that fulfill this requirement without being about Christianity.
If you don’t mind me asking, do you have a Tumblr? Or are we friends on FB? We could have a private conversation if you have any more questions. I just don’t want to spam my followers with Santa Clara info. xD
Hi anon! :D
YES! I love Santa Clara very much ♥ Which is funny, because I didn’t even want to apply xD As for the atmosphere, my roommate wants me to say we are the one percent LOL it’s pretty chill. Everyone’s nice here :D And actually, I live in the dorms. I have this wonderful roommate by the name of Jackie~crazy Mormon
